We are so grateful for all of you who want to pray for and visit Maxine. She will forever be grateful for your love, support and prayers. Please continue to pray for her. At this time, the hospital is not accepting visitors, but we will let you know as soon as she is ready to see all of your friendly faces. Thank you again and please continue to pray.

Friday, September 12

They still have Maxine sedated. She is on a ventilator and still has a balloon pump in her. They are hoping to wake her up later today. She had to get some blood last night, but they say that she is ok.

The hospital is not allowing visitors in her room at any time right now. We will let you know when she is ready to receive visitors.

We are asking for prayer for our favorite family member. She is a precious woman, and just as she has touched all of our lives, we are sure she has someway touched yours also.

Please pray that she is not fearful when they wake her up and she has a tube down her throat.

Please pray that the Lord will start to heal her while she is sleeping and will minimize her pain.

Please pray that she will have less pain in her feet. She will not be able to use much upper body strength and her feet have always given her issues. This will make it hard for her to walk with a walker, and it is almost impossible for her to walk without it.

Please pray that she puts her hope in the Lord and looks for her strength from Him. Only He will be able to get her through the next couple of weeks.

And finally, please pray for our family as we try to be there for her as much as possible. Please pray that schedules work out perfectly so that we can lavish her with love and help.

Psalm 107:19-21
"Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them from their distress. He sent forth his word and healed them; He rescued them from the grave. Let them give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men."

Thank you so much for your prayers!
